Meet Your Consultant

I’m Marijana, the founder and Director of Summit Talent Network.

With a Bachelor of Education (0–12 years) and a Bachelor of Commerce, and experience spanning early childhood education, primary teaching and state government, I bring a unique understanding of the education sector and the people within it.

My career began in early childhood education, where I worked in a range of roles, including as a Centre Manager. I’ve also worked as a primary teacher and in corporate government roles across various areas of Early Years and Primary Education, including the NSW Regulatory Authority. This experience gives me a unique perspective from both sides of the employment relationship: understanding the pressures services face when building a team, and what educators need to feel supported, valued and successful in their roles.

Throughout my career, one thing has remained constant - my passion for people and my belief that the right educator in the right role can make a genuine difference. I not only believe this, but I have seen it in action, and I have been part of creating this on the ground.

I founded Summit Talent Network because I saw an opportunity to offer something more personal. Recruitment shouldn’t be about simply filling vacancies. It’s about taking the time to understand people, recognising their individual strengths, and making thoughtful connections that support both educators and services for the long term.

My approach is built on genuine relationships and industry understanding. I’m passionate about helping early childhood services build strong, capable teams while supporting educators to find opportunities where they can thrive, grow and make a meaningful impact.

As a parent and an Early Childhood Education Professional, I understand how much the right fit matters - for educators, services, and the children and families they support.

I’m proud to bring a personal, hands-on approach to every partnership, and look forward to helping connect exceptional people with opportunities where they can truly make a difference.
